Association of Defense Industry of the Slovak Republic (ADISR) is an interest association of corporate bodies founded in accordance with §20f and all subsequent paragraphs of the Act No. 40/1964 of the Code of the Slovak Republic. ADISR is registered at a Regional Office of Trencín under a registration number 44/2000 since 30th of March 2000 as an independent legal entity.

The aim of ADISR is to:

Promote and protect any entrepreneurial and commercial interests of its members through a permanent dialog with the National Council, Government of Slovakia, Ministries and other bodies of the State Administration as well as other national and international institutions, including similar foreign associations, chambers and/or federations.
Promote and support its members in presenting their production plans/goals and products to seek involvement in new development and modernization programs announced by the Armed Forces and other corps of the Slovak Republic.
Promote and facilitate new business contacts between foreign partners and ADISR members and thus promote their export capabilities in the field of defense equipment, armaments, material and services.
Provide organizational, economic and other specialized consultancy.
Promote and coordinate research, development and testing activities in the field of defense equipment and material to establish for its members a comparable environment to the EU and NATO countries.
Promote common interests of research and development institutions when applying for grants or responding to various tenders for development of new defense related products and/or technologies.
Organize educational and promotional activities for the sake of its members.

Assets of ADISR

Assets of ADISR are gained through annual membership fees, grants and other revenues. The assets are used to cover expenses of ADISR made while pursuing its objectives. Finance management of ADISR is driven by generally binding rules, internal rules and a budget issued for each year and approved by General Assembly of ADISR.
